We craft our chimes for numerous occasions, including but not limited to: the birth of a child, weddings, and the remembrance of loved ones passed. Every chime is custom built to order. We can also create a chime for any special moment that can be represented by a specific period of time.

What Do Keepsake Chimes Represent?

Each chime represents someone special. They are made not to ring randomly, as an ordinary wind chime would. You must intone the chime yourself by pulling and releasing the striker. This requires intent on your part. We feel this action brings you closer to the person or event you wish to remember.

How Are They Made?

Taking a specific period of time we calculate the corresponding tone (frequency) and then cut and tune the chime to that tone. Through meticulous measurements we are able to produce chimes with very clear tones and long sustain.

When we color the frame of the chime, we “dye” the wood. This keeps the individual chimes even more unique.  Each frame has its own grain pattern and this varies the way the piece absorbs the color.  We could make a dozen chimes for the same person (same tone) yet each chime will be unique to the person possessing the chime. The striker is sterling silver and the chime is high quality aluminum rod.
